| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/SUMMARY: | Community Emergency Response Volunteers (CERV) is donating a check to the Carmel Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the purchase of an emergency response trailer in the amount of $9,800. CERV was awarded the money through a grant by the Carmel Rotary. The City’s policy C89-41, Acceptance of Donations and Gifts to the City, requires City Council to accept all gifts in excess of $500 by resolution of the City Council. The money, if accepted will be deposited into the Carmel Police Department Donation Account: 101-000-00-36230 and used to purchase a Carmel CERT emergency response trailer and equipment. |
