| | | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION: | | Receive presentation and facilitate community discussion regarding the development of the Urban Forest Master Plan. |

| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/SUMMARY: | The City of Carmel has partnered with Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) to develop an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP).
A Community Meeting is being held to outline the process of creating a UFMP, to allow an opportunity for the public to provide input to help shape the UFMP, as well as for DRG to present preliminary findings. |

| | | | | | | | | PRIOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION: | | On August 2, 2022, Council adopted Resolution 2022-068, approving a Budget Amendment of $150,000 to the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Adopted Budget for the Cal Fire Grant and authorizing the City Administrator to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Davey Resource Group for development of an Urban Forestry Master Plan |
