A total of 7 applications were received by the due date of January 25, 2023, and 1 applicant withdrew and declined an interview (Dan Lindsey).
Per the City's Municipal Code 2.74.010(D) regarding the HRB appointment process, "Members of the Historic Resources Board shall be nominated by the Mayor whose nomination shall be ratified by at least three members of and appointed by the City Council."
Mayor Potter and Mayor Pro Tem Richards comprised the Ad Hoc Committee and interviewed the applicants for the Boards and Commissions vacancies on January 30, 2023. The following individual has been identified as qualified to fill the vacancy and is recommended for appointment effective February 7, 2023:
